If you are considering a visit to the Wernigerode Garden of India, you should plan a little more time. It takes a while to read through the very extensive menu, and once you've made your decision, it takes a good three quarters of an hour before the starters are served. They were okay, by the way, if not overwhelming. Fried vegetables with interesting dips and a salad composition that you would expect in a German country inn. The main courses were okay too, apart from the weird mix of vegetables. Are boiled carrots, beans and pieces of cauliflower typically Indian? I don't know ... Anyway, you can get full here for relatively little money, and that's kind of important.

The food there was very good. Staff friendly. The cleanliness in the shop and in the toilets is a bit more to complain about. And when you look into the kitchen, well, I don't want to say anything wrong. We thought it was okay, but everyone should know for themselves.

Stay away from the store !! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼Absolute rip off and the greatest cheek! Food is the most disgusting thing! Chicken was like a shoe sole and tasted dubious! Sauce from a can. Service: No greeting, menus thrown down, not asked whether the food was tasty or why it wasn't eaten after 2 spoons, plates were aggressively thrown into each other when clearing away! Incredible! Had to hold back from freaking out! By far the worst restaurant experience !! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Don't go there!

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, the food was good, the menu was very extensive. GREAT that there were so many vegetarian dishes :-) Small negative point for the toilets / bathrooms-they weren't clean.

We dined here for the first time today and are really impressed. There is something for everyone and the staff in a friendly way always tried hard to make you feel very comfortable. Really recommendable and would come again.

I am a fan of negative recessions. As is well known, one cannot argue about taste. We must have had a bad day yesterday, unfortunately the meat was dry and grilled tough. In 3 of our dishes :-( After addressing this, we were ignored by the waiter and received neither an apology nor an explanation - this is the case with traditional Indian cuisine. No, he was of the opinion that his displeasure with our dishes when clearing away. Not a good host - a shame for this reason and since the other 3 meals were good I can only award these points. Food 3 points, ambience 3 and service 0 points.

I can't understand negative recessions from the store. We eat here often and always find new tasty things. Of course there are improvement points in terms of the presentation of the card with regard to overview etc., but food prices and staff are more than satisfactory and that is what matters. Those who love Indian food should visit this restaurant in Wernigerode!

We often go to Indian food. It was the worst Indian we've ever been to. Starter plate of loveless fried heap. Main course tasteless, frozen vegetables. The vegetable curry was watery. We will definitely never come back.

It was interesting to find an Indian restaurant in such small town. About food, it was delicious and reaching towards authentic taste we get in India. Well, if you are near Wernigerode and feeling hungry I would recommend to visit this place.

Amazing food and super fast serving for a low price!

Nice and quiet restaurant. In summer you can also eat outside. Very tasty dishes and pleasant service. A star deduction due to the dry samosas as a starter. Otherwise highly recommended!

Great Indian restaurant with a huge selection and very tasty dishes. Nicely decorated, it offers a nice atmosphere with friendly service. The choice of dishes is exceptional and fantastic. There is something for everybody. The lentil soup is well done in advance, as is the samosa. The main courses were very good. The selection of drinks is also great. One of the best Indian restaurant. I had a pleasure to eat here during corona restrictions. The restaurant was very good prepared to keep distance between guests. The restaurant serves mango appetizer and salad to welcome its guests. All the ordered dishes, drinks and extras were delicious. A big advantage is also the service. The employees are very nice and have good contact with the customers. If I'm be in Wernigerode again, I'll be happy to come here.

Very nice paleting and color full food

Very delicious food, on request also in different degrees of sharpness. The staff is very friendly and the salad bar is small but fine, hygienic and it is always refilled quickly. I was very happy with my veggie food and highly recommend it

Good Indian food.

I really enjoyed the dinner especially Roti and Chettinnad chicken curry. The mango lassi was yummy. The ambience in the hotel added treat to the food. The staffs were friendly too. I recommend this place.

Misleading advertising. They left the lunch menu outside (with very small writing to indicate this is a lunch menu) which makes it look cheap. Dinner prices are twice or more! We went there after reading good reviews. That was the biggest mistake! We ordered different dishes and they were bland and taste so similar to each other! Never to come back!
